Police prevailed against Cote d'Ivoire's SOA 85-70 at the 2022 BAL Qualifiers. On Monday, AS Nigelec will come up against SLAC while FAP and AS Police will face off for the leadership of Group G1.
SOA grabbed an early 17-16 lead and added a 23-21 rally in the second period. Police meanwhile took control in the rest of the game. They came up with a 21-15 run in the third quarter and closed the game with a massive 27-15 surge.
Stephane Konate (191-SG-80) top-scored for the winners with 18 points and Papa Tandina (187-G-93) netted 14. Benke Diarouma (198-F-95) followed them with 11 points in the winning effort. Asshe Kokoun (85) replied with 13 points in a loss and Aboubakar Traore (204-C-95) had 13.
